Incredible experience completely recommended, from the moment they picked us up at the airport until the end of the trip they made sure we didn’t miss anything. A wonderful family with great experience, very good food, cleanliness, and attention. The desert was magical — enjoying Berber culture, its surroundings, breathtaking sunrises and sunsets, camel rides, quads, and an impressive starry sky. Several dreams fulfilled during the stay. They organize everything to your taste and needs. Could not ask for more. We will return for sure!

Amazing tour! Said and Brahim are wonderful hosts and made our stay unforgettable. We did a 3-day, 2-night tour — one night in haimas with a camel ride, enjoying both dusk and dawn in the Sahara. An experience that should be lived at least once in a lifetime. Totally recommended!

The place is magical — very peaceful and relaxing. The tents are spacious and perfectly clean. Ali and the staff were extremely kind and helpful with pickups and tours. They speak various languages, making communication easy, and arranging pick-ups is as simple as a WhatsApp call. The camel ride at sunset was fantastic, and the tour around the area was both informative and fascinating. Breakfast and dinner were different every day and always delicious. We highly recommend it!

Continue to the majestic Cedar Forest of Azrou, home to the Barbary macaques, where you can interact with the monkeys and enjoy the fresh mountain air. Journey through winding roads towards Midelt, located between the Middle and High Atlas ranges, where you’ll stop for lunch and admire views of snow-capped mountains during winter. After lunch, the road descends into the spectacular Ziz Valley, lined with thousands of palm trees, fortified villages, and kasbahs that paint a picture of traditional Moroccan life. Pass through Errachidia and continue to Erfoud, a desert gateway renowned for fossil workshops and its annual Date Festival. As you approach Merzouga, marvel at the changing colors of the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. Upon arrival, your camels will be waiting for a guided trek into the Sahara, where you’ll ride over rolling dunes, enjoy a breathtaking sunset, and capture unforgettable photos. At night, settle into a traditional or luxury desert camp, savor a delicious Moroccan dinner, listen to Berber drumming around the campfire, and admire a magical night sky filled with stars before resting in your private tent.

Day 2: Merzouga – Erfoud – Todra Gorge – Boumalne Dades

Wake up early to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, followed by a hearty breakfast at your desert camp. Afterward, return to Merzouga by camel trek or 4×4 vehicle and begin your journey toward the Atlas foothills. Travel through the town of Erfoud, famous for its fossil quarries and marble workshops, and enjoy a scenic drive across palm-filled oases and Berber villages. Continue through Tinejdad with optional stops at traditional ksars (fortified villages) before arriving at the dramatic Todra Gorge, where towering cliffs reach up to 300 meters, offering opportunities for short walks, photography, and local encounters. After lunch, follow the picturesque Dades Valley, known as the “Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs,” where fortified mud-brick villages, lush orchards, and rose gardens decorate the landscape. Take in the spectacular rock formations known as the “Monkey Fingers” and enjoy panoramic viewpoints of the valley before reaching Boumalne Dades. Settle into your riad or hotel, savor a traditional Moroccan dinner, and spend the night surrounded by the peaceful beauty of the High Atlas foothills.

Day 3: Boumalne Dades – Skoura – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas – Marrakech

After breakfast in Boumalne Dades, continue your journey along the scenic Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, where countless fortified villages and ancient mud-brick houses dot the landscape. Travel through the fertile Valley of Roses, famous for its annual rose festival, fragrant gardens, and traditional distilleries producing rose water and cosmetics. Stop at Skoura to admire its lush palm groves and visit the historic Kasbah Amridil, one of the best-preserved kasbahs in Morocco. Continue toward Ouarzazate, often called the “Hollywood of Africa,” with optional visits to the Atlas Film Studios and the ancient Kasbah Taourirt, both showcasing the region’s cinematic and cultural heritage. After lunch, explore the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou, a spectacular ksar famous for its earthen architecture and as a filming location for classics such as Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, and Game of Thrones. Wander through its maze-like alleys, climb to panoramic viewpoints, and soak in the history of this trading post on the old caravan route.
