We’ll break for lunch in Midelt, then head south across the dramatic Tizi n’Talghamt Pass toward Errachidia, enjoying panoramic views of rugged mountain scenery. In the afternoon, we pass through Ziz Valley, known for its lush palm groves, and arrive in Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara.

We continue to the seasonal Srij Lake (if water is present), then to Khamlia village, where you’ll enjoy Gnawa music performed by descendants of former Sub-Saharan slaves.

Next, we’ll visit the M’fis mines and meet a Berber nomad family in the desert, sharing tea and learning about their unique lifestyle. After lunch at a local restaurant, we return to Merzouga village.

In the late afternoon, your camel trek begins—ride through the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, with a stop atop the dunes to watch the sunset. Try sandboarding, snap photos, and enjoy the serene silence of the Sahara.

Arrive at your Berber desert camp, where you'll be welcomed with mint tea. After a delicious dinner, enjoy traditional music by the campfire and fall asleep under a canopy of stars in your tent.
