4 day tour from Marrakech to fes starts from your Riad then head the South Eastern part of Morocco by crossing the chain of Mountains called the high Atlas. Furthermore, it is an impressive car ride on the Tizi N’tichka route as it offers nice views of landscapes and is worth some great panoramic photos. After that, visit Ait Ben Haddou which is located near Oued Elmalh River. After an early breakfast, you will continue your ascent across the dreamy Atlas Mountains. Stop by the majestic Todra canyon, you may enjoy a walk in this impressive towering Gorge (600 feet high) where water flows to irrigate the long oasis of palm groves. Afterwards, continue driving to Sahara via Tinjdad. Half way, stop for lunch. In the afternoon, the journey goes on to Merzouga. Upon arrival at the desert, ride a camel for a 1/2-hour trek out into the dunes to watch the sunset and then back to the camp which is located next to the sand dunes. Overnight stay in a nomad tent.
You’ll wake up to the beautiful Saharan sand dunes right outside your tent, perhaps get up to watch the sunrise together, if you are early risers! After breakfast, go on a tour around the beautiful region including a visit to Nomads, lunch in a Gnaoua house with music and many more. Afterwards, depart to explore the small city of Rissani, on the edge of the Sahara. Upon arrival in Rissani, tour the lively souk and visit an 18th-century ksar. Next, pass by the ancient ruins of Sijilmasa on the River Ziz, once a bustling Berber city and medieval trade depot. After that, drive back to Merzouga for an afternoon at leisure. After breakfast, you will head towards fes. Meet your driver/guide and depart on a scenic drive to Fes crossing the Ziz Valley through Errachidia which is the capital of Tafilalet region. The beautiful drive will take you up into the Middle Atlas Mountains. Thereafter, carry on our journey to Midelt where lunch will be and at leisure. In the afternoon, you may like to stop by cedar forest to see Barbary apes and take some pictures. arrive in Fes late in the afternoon.
